The CA-330 is the successor of the CA-303 Signature Edition mono blocks amplifier. It is a class A triode mode, push-pull mono blocks power amplifier with the use of two 300B output tubes per channel. The new CA-330 features a modified circuitry that guarantees a deeper bass tones and crisper treble. The redesigned custom wound power and output transformers result an increase of output power to 26 watts. An independent, choke filtered high voltage supplies is used for each channel.

To get the most out of our design, only highest quality parts and components are used in critical applications and Hovland MusiCaps® are used in key circuit locations. We thenhand wired them point to point with Teflon coated silver wire. The oversize custom wound power and output transformers are specially designed to extend the bass and highs. Just as important, the military grade epoxy circuit boards are designed to minimize component interaction. In addition to that, each of the 300B triode tube has a separate bias adjustment pot mounted on the rear panel. When you listen to the CA-330, you just might not think of them as amplifiers at all. Those who have listened closely say that it sounds like music, not like an amp. Only the glow of those matched 300B will let you know otherwise. It's that simple. |
